Reading Riot at the Library
This is an after school reading program for K-3. It starts with a snack in the elementary Spanish room right after school. Then adult volunteers take the children to the Public library for reading until 4:30pm. The students will do partner reading, they will be read to, and they will have time to check out their own books. Each student must return a permission slip to the elementary office by the date of the event to be able to stay for the program. This activity is completed at 4:30pm and it is very important that an adult is there to pick up each child.
